Saelher is an integrated design, product-development, sampling, and manufacturing company. We own and operate a network of more than 100 specialized factories across the United States, Mexico, Canada, Vietnam, Thailand, China, and the United Kingdom. Through this network, we help designers, brands, eCommerce businesses, and wholesale clients move from an initial concept to a finished, production-ready collection.
Different products require different equipment, technical expertise, and production experience. Our factories are therefore organized by category, with dedicated capabilities for womenswear, menswear, kidswear, denim, bedding and home textiles, pet apparel, and pet accessories. Each project is matched with the most suitable facility and team according to its construction, materials, processes, volume, and delivery market.

Factory Scale and Equipment
Many Saelher factories operate with approximately 300 skilled employees and around 5,000 square meters of production space. Across our global network, more than 10,000 pieces of specialized equipment support pattern making, precision cutting, industrial sewing, overlocking, coverstitching, embroidery, quilting, washing, pressing, hardware installation, inspection, and packing.
Workforce, floor space, and equipment configurations vary by product category. Production lines, technicians, and machinery are allocated according to each project, enabling us to support focused development, coordinated collection production, and ongoing repeat orders.
Monthly capacity is planned dynamically around product type, technical complexity, material availability, and the active order mix. Once a project is confirmed, our team can prepare a factory allocation and production schedule based on the required quantity and target delivery date.

Womenswear Factories
Our womenswear factories develop and manufacture dresses, tops, skirts, trousers, outerwear, and complete fashion collections. Production teams work with lightweight and fluid fabrics, stretch materials, lace, embroidery, and complex constructions, with close attention to silhouette, proportion, and fit.
From pattern development and grading to cutting, sewing, pressing, and final inspection, every stage is designed to maintain a consistent shape and refined finish. For coordinated collections, we align fabrics, colors, and details across styles to preserve a coherent brand language.

Menswear Factories
Our menswear facilities produce shirts, T-shirts, sweatshirts, trousers, jackets, outerwear, and casual collections. Each product is assigned the appropriate fabric preparation, construction method, sewing equipment, and finishing process to balance comfort, durability, and structure.
For extended size ranges, teams pay particular attention to shoulder width, chest, sleeve length, trouser length, and ease of movement so that approved grading rules remain consistent throughout bulk production.

Denim Factories
Denim requires dedicated material handling, sewing, washing, and finishing capabilities. Saelher denim factories develop and produce jeans, jackets, skirts, dresses, and denim wedding collections.
The workflow may include fabric inspection, shrinkage testing, cutting, chainstitch or double-needle sewing, reinforcement, rivet and button installation, garment washing, vintage effects, color control, and final pressing. Every wash effect is approved through sampling before a bulk standard is established, helping reduce variation in color and hand feel between production lots.

Kidswear Factories
Kidswear production places particular importance on softness, comfort, practical sizing, and detail safety. Our facilities support baby and children’s apparel, everyday clothing, occasionwear, outerwear, and coordinated accessories.
Materials and construction are selected according to the intended age group. Seam allowances, trims, decorative parts, zippers, buttons, and cords receive focused attention, followed by dimensional, visual, and attachment-strength checks according to the confirmed product requirements.

Bedding and Home Textile Factories
Our home textile facilities specialize in duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases, fitted sheets, comforters, pillows, cushions, and coordinated bedding collections. Large-format fabric inspection, cutting, sewing, quilting, and embroidery equipment supports custom dimensions, fabrics, colors, patterns, edge treatments, and packaging.
For long-staple cotton, sateen, linen, blended, and functional fabrics, teams monitor shrinkage, colorfastness, hand feel, fabric direction, and stability after washing. Approved samples, measurement charts, and construction specifications form the standard for bulk production and inspection.

Pet Product Factories
Our pet facilities manufacture pet apparel, collars, leashes, harnesses, beds, mats, carriers, and related accessories. Product development may combine webbing, leather or alternative materials, metal hardware, mesh, padding, and abrasion-resistant textiles.
Teams focus on reinforcement at load-bearing points, secure stitching, adjustable structures, hardware connections, edge finishing, and wearing comfort. During sampling, we confirm the size range, load structure, component compatibility, and finishing standards before moving into volume production.

Design and Product Development Center
Manufacturing begins with clear design and technical direction. Based on sketches, reference images, physical samples, or a brand concept, Saelher’s design and product-development team can prepare style designs, construction plans, measurement recommendations, material combinations, color proposals, process details, and production information.
Designers communicate directly with sampling and factory teams. This allows us to protect the visual intention while evaluating material availability, manufacturing feasibility, cost, and production stability before an order reaches the factory floor.

Sample Center — Development in 15–20 Days
Sampling is the bridge between an idea and scalable manufacturing. Our sample teams coordinate material preparation, pattern or structure development, cutting, sewing, embroidery or special processes, pressing, and overall inspection.
The standard sample-development lead time is usually 15–20 days, depending on product construction, material availability, and process complexity. After receiving the sample, clients can review the dimensions, color, fabric, trims, function, and finish before approving final adjustments for production.
The approved sample becomes a key production reference, supported by measurement charts, material information, and construction requirements.

From Material to Finished Product
1. Material Inspection
Materials are checked for color, texture, width, weight, quantity, and visible defects. Shrinkage, colorfastness, or other tests can be arranged according to the product and project requirements.
2. Pattern Making, Marking, and Cutting
Technical teams develop patterns and grading rules from approved measurements. Efficient markers help control material use before production pieces are cut with equipment appropriate to the product.
3. Sewing and Assembly
Production lines are organized around the approved operation sequence, equipment, and skill requirements. Stress points, symmetry, joins, and visible stitch lines receive focused in-process checks.
4. Specialized Processes
Depending on the product, production may include embroidery, printing, quilting, washing, pleating, bonding, binding, hardware installation, and other decorative or functional processes.
5. Finishing and Quality Inspection
Products move through thread trimming, pressing, measurement checks, appearance inspection, function checks, and pre-packing review. Items requiring correction are repaired and inspected again.
6. Packing and International Delivery
After approval, products are labeled, tagged, packed, and cartoned according to client requirements. Express courier, air freight, and sea freight can be arranged for international delivery.

One Quality System Across the Network
Quality is not a single inspection at the end of production. It is a working method that begins with design and materials and continues through sampling, manufacturing, packing, and delivery.
Approved samples, measurement charts, material standards, construction specifications, and inspection records provide a clear execution reference across factories. Our checks cover material consistency, dimensional tolerances, color, construction, stitching, embroidery or print quality, hardware security, function, overall appearance, and packaging. Third-party inspection or testing can also be arranged when required.

Bulk Production — Usually 35–40 Days
Once the final sample, materials, measurements, construction, quantity, and packaging are approved, the selected factory prepares the production schedule. Standard bulk-production lead time is usually 35–40 days, depending on category, order volume, material purchasing, technical complexity, and production availability.
For multi-category or multi-region projects, Saelher coordinates specialized facilities through one project team, giving clients a single point of communication for progress, quality, and delivery.
